“But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still

and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people with you!”

 2 Chronicles 20:17 (NLT)

There are four things you need to do to position yourself for your miracle.  First, cut away the weights and unbelief.  To paraphrase Hebrews 12:1 NLT, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up.  And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”  Secondly, you need to quit dwelling on your past.  Isaiah 43:18-19 in the New American Standard Bible says, “Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past.  Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth.”  The word “ponder” means to keep bringing it up, to keep focusing on your past.  Thirdly, watch with expectation what God is about to do.  “Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory.”  And the fourth thing you need to do to get ready for your miracle as you stand and watch with expectation is to speak only what God speaks.  Stop speaking things that God does not speak.  Stop speaking “unbelief” but instead speak “faith.”  Hebrews 11:1 NASB tells us “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things unseen.”

DECLARATION:   Father, help me to not ponder the past but instead walk

in the present with that faith attitude, expecting a miracle.
