“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:13-14 (ESV)

There is no doubt that many of you have set your personal and business goals for the year. And hopefully you also established a plan on how you are going to accomplish your goals. There is one question you should ask yourself that will determine the success or failure of your goals: Will I be INTENTIONAL with my plan? Simply wishing, hoping, and dreaming will not bring success to the plan. As I thought about this, it’s only by managing my thinking and shifting my thoughts from desire to deeds would I be able to have a positive result. You need to go from wanting to doing. 2 Chronicles 15:7 (ESV) says, “But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.” And Proverbs 21:5a (ESV) says, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” Sunday Adelaja, the founder and senior pastor of the Embassy of God in Kiev Ukraine, said in his book, The Mountain of Ignorance, “It is only those that live intentionally that can accomplish and come to the significance meant for them.”
