Clark Nuber PS (Bellevue) volunteers twice a month cooking breakfast for kids at Jubilee REACH during the school year and also cooks breakfast for 85 kids in the summer at Urban Impact’s Freedom School! They are great supporters of LRF! On October 20, their “Day of Caring,” seventy two of their employees volunteered for 2 hours at Gateway Medical Alliance in Kent!
Gateway Medical Alliance receives unused medical surplus items from many medical facilities and medical donations from local families in the Seattle and Tacoma area of Washington in the United States. Volunteers assess the quality of these donations, inventory, and pack the supplies into boxes. These boxes, as well as a wide variety of hospital, physical therapy and mobility related equipment, fill the containers sent to many countries in need worldwide. GMA International raises the operational and ocean freight funds necessary to sort, pack, load, ship, and administrate the majority of the containers sent worldwide.
Thank you to Clark Nuber, PS! This company knows how to give back!! Does yours? Ask us how you can serve?
