Our South End 2016 Champion Award winner, Medosweet Farms in Kent, is
changing lives through serving with our non-profit partner, Olive Crest, since
December 2015. Every month the staff from Medosweet Farms rallies together
to provide a meal for the families that gather at Olive Crest’s support group in
Kent. A volunteer sign-up sheet that is placed in the staff room always fills up as
the team members carefully plan and prepare, making each meal an experience.
At the meetings, families are welcomed with warm smiles, handshakes and hugs
along with a fabulous dinner. Whether it’s BBQ or Italian Cuisine, every meal is
made with love and served with excellence. We receive regular reports of how
generous and loving the volunteers are.
Our North/East End 2016 Champion Award winner, Clark Nuber PS in Bellevue,
is an award-winning Certified Public Accounting firm located in the Seattle Metro
Area. Regarded as one of the top 100 accounting firms in the region by
Accounting Today, Clark Nuber PS employs 200 of the industry’s best and
brightest professionals. Clark Nuber PS has been volunteering for over 4 years
cooking and serving the kids breakfast in the morning at Jubilee REACH with 2
teams every month, and in the summers cooking and serving breakfast at Urban
Impact’s Freedom School.
We thank Medosweet Farms and Clark Nuber PS for their ongoing commitment
to serve those in need. They truly embrace Liberty Road Foundation’s mission to
bring hope, dignity and significance to the people they serve.
