Board of directors

Jim Johnson is the Managing Partner of Group 42 LLC, a consulting firm that provides interim executive services to small and medium sized privately held companies. Prior to founding Group 42, Jim served as President and CEO of Pro-Tech Services, a medical device company recognized worldwide as the premier designer, manufacturer, and distributor of sensors used in sleep apnea studies. 

Jim is a graduate of the University of Washington with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering.  He and his wife Pat live in Woodinville where they are very active at Bear Creek Community Church, both serving in leadership positions.  They are the proud parents of two adult children.  For relaxation, Jim restores and races vintage race cars with his daughter.  Jim also serves as an adjunct professor and Board Chairman for the International School of Entrepreneurial Leadership (iSOEL) and is Competition Chairman for the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN).
