“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”

Philippians 4:6-9 NASB

As your thoughts turn toward the holidays, the stress trap can easily consume you. How is your attitude with all that is going on in your life? Are you finding yourself more stressed and on edge at times? Are you letting the circumstances around you affect your attitude? Here Paul talks about guarding your attitude. He tells you that you are to replace anxiousness and worry with prayer and thankfulness and to think on those things that are positive and uplifting in your life. Take a few moments to get refocused. Just think about all the blessings you have in your life. It will change your attitude.
