“Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.” (NASB)

1 Thessalonian 5:11

The word encourage means to give support, confidence or hope to someone.  Different synonyms are: cheer, uplift, inspire, motivate, stir up, invigorate and rally.  As Joel Osteen has shared, “Encouragement to others is something everyone can give.  Somebody needs what you have to give. It may not be money; it may be your time.  It may be your listening ear.  It may be your arms to encourage.  It may be your smile to uplift.  Who knows?”   Who knows what will happen when you sow those seeds of cheer into someone’s life?  The time you give, the thoughts you share, the smile you express.  Who knows?  Who knows?

DECLARATION:

I declare I will look for those opportunities to sow seeds of encouragement this week.
