Be Assured – He Never Lets Go

“Every person the Father gives Me eventually comes running to Me. And once that person is with Me, I hold on and don’t let go. I came down from heaven not to follow My own whim but to accomplish the will of the One who sent Me. This, in a nutshell, is that will: that everything handed over to Me by the Father be completed—not a single detail missed—and at the wrap-up of time I have everything and everyone put together, upright and whole. This is what My Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who He is and what He does and then aligns with Him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time.” John 6:37-40 The Message Bible Wow! What a promise! “Every person the Father gives Me I hold on and don’t let go.” I love what the New American Standard Bible says in verse 39, “This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me. I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.” God is still in control. Still loves us. Still wants the best for us. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our daily life situations that we forget...

Don’t Worry – Be Happy

Posted on Oct 23, 2017 in WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT | 0 comments

“And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span? If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.” Luke 12:25-27 NASB Some of you are carrying around a big bag full of worry. Life is full of unexpected events. You really don’t know what the day will bring. The first thing you want to do is to fight these battles in the flesh and all that will do is make you worry more. But what you really need is to be in a place of rest – a place in His presence. “I’m going to trust You, God, for this is outside of my control.  I’m just going to sit in your presence, worship you, and trust you. I can’t fix this problem but I know you are the one who can.” As you worship instead of worry, praise, peace, and joy just pours in. Declaration: “I’m living a life of worship and not...

Extraordinary Kingdom-Minded People Think “Significance”

Posted on Oct 16, 2017 in WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT | 0 comments

“Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28 NASB “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.”  Philippians 2:3-4 NASB Begin each day by asking the Holy Spirit to help you become more aware of others, and how you can bring value into there lives. For instance, if you own a business, share some of your profits and mobilize your employees to bring hope, dignity, and significance to those in need. John Maxwell says this about significance, “Success is when I add value to myself. Significance is when I add value to others.” He further says, “Success can last a lifetime; significance can last several lifetimes.” I challenge you to start looking at life from a more “significance”...
