Just Keep Moving

“Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” Galatians 6:9 (NASB) God has given you a destiny – the “why” you are here on Planet Earth. There are many things that come along in the course of your journey that will try to distract you and get you off course. Many times these distractions look very glamorous and enticing on the surface and yet many times they prove to be a detriment to your destiny. There are three things that I have personally found over the years that help in this journey. First of all, you need to keep your eyes on Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfector of your faith. God is the one that has given you your destiny and He will equip you in your journey along the way. Secondly, in the process of your journey, make right choices. To do this, you are going to need to be filled daily with the Holy Spirit, which literally means be controlled by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is your Friend and your Helper and He will give you wisdom and discernment in helping you to make right choices. And, thirdly, just keep moving. Don’t quit. Be persistent, be determined and most of all, don’t allow discouragement, anxiety and fear to keep you from your destiny. Be encouraged that you’re going to make it because if God is for you, then who can be against...

Is Your Vision Clouded?

Posted on Jul 24, 2017 in WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT | 0 comments

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” Matthew 6:22-23 (NKJV) When your eyes become clouded with the things of this world, your whole life is affected. What you see is what affects your mind, thoughts, will, emotions and physical body. So pay careful attention to what you focus your eyes upon. Ponder this question. Do you have control of your eyes, or do your eyes have control of you? DECLARATION: I will verbally make a commitment to the Holy Spirit by asking Him to control my eyes. Then I will take the initiative to turn away from those things that tempt...

The Road To Success

Posted on Jul 17, 2017 in WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT | 0 comments

Here are a few thoughts that, when practiced, will lead to your success. Determine each day to fellowship with the Holy Spirit. He is your friend. He is your helper. He is with you to give you wisdom in the choices you make. He is with you to help overcome the struggles you are contending with. “But be filled with the spirit.” Eph. 5:18 NASB Stay humble, for humility is the key to success. 1 Peter 5:6 NASB says, “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time.” Surround yourself with Godly friends and stay teachable and accountable.  You are greatly influenced by the ones that you hang with. People of great faith are in your corner cheering you on. Proverbs 27:17 NASB, “Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another.” You are not successful without significance. Proverbs 11:25 NCV, “Whoever gives to others will get richer; those who help others will themselves be helped.”   Build a reputation for integrity and honesty in all your dealings. Proverbs 21:3 NCV, “Doing what is right and fair is more important to the Lord than...

Never Give Up

Posted on Jul 10, 2017 in WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT | 0 comments

It has been said, “He who labors diligently need never despair; for all things are accomplished by diligence and labor.” Proverbs 13:4 (NKJV) says, “The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” And Proverbs 10:4 (NKJV) further says, “He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” When faced with discouragement, struggles and disappointments in the midst of pursuing your dreams, don’t give up. You are not the first to go through hard times and discouragement. Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV) says, “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake...
